A Foundation Stone of Muddy Lynn School

"There are two pictures of rocks used in the foundation of the Muddy Lynn School. They sit on a little bank on the left side as you are going up Dry Creek, a little way beyond where the Sturgeon Fork meets the Dry Creek road. They sit like a miniature Stonehenge, where the young scholars of my Dad's generation learned "the Three R's": Reading, wRiting, and aRithmetic." From Charles Bradford
