"Not very far up into Horse Creek, in a curve, sits the house formerly occupied by a wonderful pair of people, Selma and Tom Wiley. Selma was a former student at Marsh Fork (Class of 1946), returning there to teach English for a number of years. She was a wonderful teacher: knowledgeable, helpful, and inspirational. Many people who attended Marsh Fork High School learned a lot from Selma. Her huband Tom, now deceased, ran the Gulf gas station at Sundial. Tom was an extremely likable, outgoing, hard worker. Though Tom didn't have any fancy equipment, he really knew how to tune motors for their highest efficiency. Tom is deceased, and I miss seeing him.
" Further into the Horse Creek hollow, we find the Horse Creek Free Will Baptist Church on the left hand side of the road. The building looks quite new, and has a walkway with railings to help steady any person who might have trouble walking. " - Charles T. Bradford
