This photo was taken of Charlie Jarrell’s store and home at Rock Creek. The building on the right is the family’s residence. The store was located to the right of the residence. The photo is dated 1964. Rebecca Chapel Methodist Church is seen on the left side and post office and Rader’s General store is on the right. Note the price of gasoline was 32 cents per gallon. The store and home burned and Lloyd Jarrell, ‘58 bought the property and built a convenience store on the site. ‘Ol Lloyd don’t sell no gas for 32 cents per gallon though!
