"looking toward little hole: looking down-river from the roadway towards "Little Hole"; the river makes a curve the the right, the water is not very deep with rocks to jump from in the background with easy access to the hole from the front side; at one time, the river was at the left side of the photo, it has shifted to the right of the photo over the years; the rocks in the immediate foreground would be straight out from our back yard where we used to live"

'
"looking toward sharp rock: looking up-river towards "Sharp Rock" and the curve in the road; in the foreground would be the "Big Hole" with the big rock for diving and sunning; across the river and to the far right which is not included in this photo, would be a small sandy beach"

"dad in boat at big hole: my dad in his home-made river boat going up-stream past the big rock toward sharp rock; this photo is a "before" of the "b 3 looking toward sharp rock"
